Our firm has an immediate opening for a litigation associate with 5+ years of litigation experience to join our fiduciary litigation practice. The position will be based in either our Miami or Fort Lauderdale office. Prior experience in probate and trust litigation is preferred including, without limitation, litigating high-value trust and estate disputes, will and trust contests, breach of fiduciary duties, undue influence and other adversary proceedings. However, candidates with extensive experience in commercial litigation that have the desire to learn probate and trust litigation will be considered. We are looking for candidates with experience litigating complex matters and those that have a strong background managing matters through all phases of litigation, including case analysis and strategic development, motion practice, discovery, depositions, hearings and appellate advocacy. Candidates must be self-starters with excellent research and writing skills and a desire to expand the fiduciary litigation practice and generate new business. This position offers the opportunity for direct involvement in every aspect of litigation including discovery, depositions, hearings and mediation. This position requires a candidate who has experience advancing cases independently. Candidates must have excellent academic credentials and prior litigation experience.
