Responsibilities and practice Dentons US LLP is seeking a mid-level or senior associate to join our sophisticated Litigation and Dispute Resolution practice in Honolulu. Candidates should be self-starting with an entrepreneurial spirit and commitment to excellent client service, proven ability to manage complex litigation and investigations, and strong academic credentials. Our associates work collaboratively with our partners and clients and are key members of our team. Expected responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Working on all aspects of disputes from inception through trial and appeal Appearing/arguing in state and federal trial and appellate courts Taking and defending depositions and related work with witnesses and experts Drafting and preparing trial court, arbitration, and appellate briefs, pleadings, motions and other documents Conducting legal research and writing memoranda Managing complex disputes, including running discovery and complex document review Supporting the team on business development and other litigation-related matters as needed This is an excellent opportunity to work with dedicated lawyers who are passionate about their work, all while enjoying the benefits of the world's largest law firm. Pursuant to Hawai`i law, the salary range for this position in Honolulu is $153,750 to $170,000, based on experience. Based on years of experience, Dentons US LLP associates may have a title of Associate, Managing Associate, or Senior Managing Associate.
