The ECEB practice provides sophisticated advice on the complicated rules applicable to compensation arrangements and other related issues to acquirers, sellers, boards of directors and their compensation committees, as well as individual executives in strategic and private equity transactions such as mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, spin-offs, IPOs and corporate restructurings. Job Summary The Compliance Analyst, ECEB is eager to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and responsible for performing a variety of tasks supporting the ECEB funds compliance practice. This role works under the direction of an experienced attorney or Senior Paralegal. Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities Collect, validate, and reconcile client data using established analytics methodologies Assist in preparing and executing compliance testing for the Firm’s investment fund clients Build and maintain structured excel models to evaluate/test relevant fund thresholds Author professional compliance summaries and reports Maintain accurate and organized records of compliance testing work and assist with file management Support responses to client inquiries and preparation of client communications Identify opportunities for automation in database/testing methods Participate in training and professional development to stay current on ERISA regulations and practice developments. Perform other tasks as needed Be flexible to adjust hours to meet departmental need Education Required Bachelor’s degree Skills and Experience Required Highly proficient in Microsoft excel and database systems (Advanced Formulas, Pivot Tables, VBA/Macros, SQL) Experienced with data modeling and management of a live/actionable database Strong logical reasoning and ability to apply complex rule-based frameworks High attention to detail and error-proofing with zero tolerance for ambiguity in compliance calculations Strong reading comprehension and capacity to review technical writing Excellent organizational and communication skills Able to work in a fast-paced environment, both independently and on a team Flexibility, time management and ability to prioritize tasks and deadlines Process-oriented mindset with focus on repeatability and
