The Senior Litigation Technology Manager leads the strategic delivery of litigation support services across the Firm. This role oversees the implementation of litigation technology solutions and provides expert guidance to attorneys, paralegals, and legal staff throughout all phases of the litigation lifecycle, including e-discovery, data management, and trial preparation. The position reports to the Chief Administrative Officer and plays a key role in shaping firm-wide discovery practices and technology adoption. Responsibilities Lead the strategic planning and execution of litigation technology initiatives, ensuring alignment with Firm goals and client expectations. Serve as the primary liaison between case teams and litigation technology resources, providing expert guidance on e-discovery workflows, trial support, and data management strategies. Supervise a team of three across multiple offices and time zones to ensure excellent internal and external client service. Oversee vendor relationships related to electronic data collection, processing, hosting, and review platforms; ensure service-level compliance and cost efficiency. Manage the full lifecycle of litigation databases, including setup, user access, review workflows, data ingestion/export, and troubleshooting. Evaluate and recommend emerging technologies to enhance the Firm’s litigation support capabilities, including analytics, AI-assisted review, and trial presentation tools. Develop and enforce Firm-wide discovery protocols, documentation standards, and quality control measures. Deliver training and support for litigation technology platforms such as Reveal and others. Collaborate with IT, Legal Operations, and Practice Group Leaders to ensure seamless integration of litigation technology with broader Firm systems and initiatives. Track and report on resource utilization and cost recovery. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree in Information Management, Computer Science, or Juris Doctor preferred. Minimum of 7 years of experience in litigation technology, including at least 3 years in a leadership role within an AMLAW200 firm or comparable legal environment. Deep understanding of litigation support workflows, e-discovery protocols, and trial technology, including experience with electronic evidence, document repositories, and trial support. Proficiency with industry-standard litigation support tools. Strong experience with relational databases and data manipulation techniques. Familiarity with analytics, technology-assisted review (TAR), and AI-driven review platforms. Proven ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly and professionally across all levels of the organization, including senior leadership and cross-office teams. Demonstrated leadership in managing high-pressure, deadline-driven environments with multiple concurrent projects. Strategic thinker with sound judgment and deep knowledge of litigation technology, capable of making data-informed, cost-conscious decisions. Strong project management and organizational skills, with a commitment to quality, consistency, and continuous improvement. Ability to mentor and develop team members while fostering a collaborative, service-oriented culture. Proactive in identifying risks, escalating issues appropriately, and driving resolution. Exceptional interpersonal and client service skills. Willingness to work extended hours and travel occasionally inter-office collaboration. Salary range based on experience level and location is estimated to be in the range of $180,000-$200,000.
