Summary of Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The Information Privacy Analyst supports the Firm’s global data privacy operations. The Analyst’s responsibilities include program support, oversight, and organization of privacy and data protection materials. The Analyst recognizes the value of teamwork, consensus-building, and effective communication to accomplish goals. The Analyst interacts regularly with senior management personnel, technical staff leaders, project managers, and the Firm’s Global Data Protection Officer (GDPO), as well as Local Data Protection Officers. Additional responsibilities include: Conducting Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs), Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs) and other associated risk analysis, assessments, and internal auditing to identify, mitigate, and document privacy risks in business processes and technologies; Assisting with the review and triage of Data Loss Prevention (DLP) alerts, including investigating potential data exfiltration or unauthorized disclosure events, escalating incidents as appropriate, and documenting findings to support remediation efforts; Evaluating the design and operating effectiveness of privacy controls within technology with a focus on identifying and addressing privacy implications, data use limitations and ethical considerations and providing guidance to stakeholders on best practices to protect and mitigate privacy risks. Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree. Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP) certification required. Three to five years of related work experience in data privacy. Working knowledge of data privacy/compliance software; including an understanding of program logic. Demonstrate understanding of jurisdictional privacy requirements and the Firm’s compliance obligations.
