Our 7,000+ employees are united by a single mission: <strong>For the People</strong>. </p> <p>Our Complex Litigation practice represents tens of thousands of clients each year in actions against some of the largest companies in the U.S. In recent years, we have successfully defended clients’ data privacy rights against companies like Capital One and Google, helped thousands of veterans pursue justice in litigation involving 3M, and secured meaningful settlements for individuals harmed by brand manufacturers of Zantac and by JUUL’s marketing and sale of nicotine products to minors. </p> <p><strong>Purpose:</strong> <br><br>The Mass Tort Litigation Associate will handle a range of litigation responsibilities, including drafting and responding to pleadings and motions, managing discovery, preparing clients and witnesses, coordinating expert and records development, and supporting depositions, hearings, and trial preparation as needed. The Associate will also partner closely with paralegals and case managers to maintain pre- and post-filing deadline control, ensure consistent work product across assigned matters, and drive timely, compliant deliverables in line with court orders, case management orders, and firm standards. Over time, high-performing Associates may also have the opportunity to be considered for appointment to Plaintiffs’ Steering Committee (PSC) roles or other leadership positions in coordinated proceedings.</p> <p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Develop and execute litigation strategy for assigned mass tort matters in coordination with lead/case management counsel, including analysis of case themes, defenses, and case valuation considerations.</li> <li>Draft, review, and file pleadings, amendments, and substantive motions (e.g., motions to dismiss, remand/jurisdiction, discovery motions, protective orders, and disposit
