Our Walnut Creek office is currently seeking an Attorney for our facilities and business practice group. In this role, you’ll be part of a team that provides meaningful legal support to public entities such as school districts, focusing on business, construction, development, and real property matters. Our ideal candidate has 2+ years of legal experience, a passion for representing public entities, and a strong interest in school district and public agency law. Additionally, you’ll collaborate with clients to provide practical, timely, and strategic solutions to their business challenges, while ensuring compliance with applicable laws. Prior transactional or litigation experience representing school districts and/or public agencies is a plus, as is familiarity with the California Environmental Quality Act. Qualifications •Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school. •Admission to the State Bar of California and in good standing. •Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills. •Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. •Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. •Passion for advocating for educational institutions and public agencies.
