We are seeking a dedicated Labor & Employment Attorney to join our team. Whether you bring a few years of experience or are a seasoned attorney, we are looking for individuals with a passion for public agency work and a solid foundation in employment law. Duties and Responsibilities:  Advise public agency clients on personnel matters including hiring, discipline, and termination.  Handle matters related to discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and employee leave laws.  Represent clients in administrative hearings, grievance arbitrations, and collective bargaining negotiations.  Assist clients with labor compliance, policy development, and internal investigations.  Collaborate with colleagues across multiple offices on complex, high-impact cases. Qualifications:  Strong interest and/or experience working with public agencies or school districts.  Knowledge of California labor and employment laws.  Excellent legal writing, research, and analytical skills.  Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced team environment with a “no jerks” culture.  California Bar admission required. Salary - $120,000 - $225,000/year Lozano Smith is committed to giving all employees the opportunity to experience meaningful, impactful work.
