Our Practice Solutions team leads the Firm’s innovation initiatives, supporting our lawyers in client delivery excellence. The Practice Solutions team works with our lawyers to identify innovative solutions to support our clients. As a Senior Project Manager, you will lead the full lifecycle of litigation technology projects, from early case assessment through trial or deal closure. This includes managing project teams, designing workflows and reports, resolving technical issues, and ensuring efficient, cost-effective delivery of legal tech solutions. You will coordinate with vendors and ALSPs, manage data quality, and provide regular updates, proposals, and budgets to stakeholders. The role requires hands-on expertise with practice-facing legal technologies, with a strong focus on eDiscovery and AI/GenAI/TAR solutions in the context of disputes, investigations, arbitrations, and trials. The roles and responsibilities include: Working closely with Practice Technology leadership team, while also supporting the broader Legal Support agenda. Lead the delivery of cutting-edge legal technology and eDiscovery solutions, from initial scoping through successful rollout, adoption, and ongoing optimization. Champion innovation by identifying emerging AI/GenAI, automation, and legal tech tools, piloting them with case teams, and embedding best practices into workflows. Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders on complex, high-pressure matters (e.g., white collar, antitrust, arbitration, regulatory investigations), providing strategic, defensible technology and discovery guidance. Own the full lifecycle of discovery and data management (ESI and paper) – including identification, preservation, collection, processing, review, and production – ensuring quality, efficiency, and defensibility. Collaborate closely with vendors, managed service providers, and internal technical/procurement teams to select, negotiate, design, and manage solutions aligned with practice needs and client demands. Provide hands-on configuration, training, and support on leading platforms (e.g., Relativity, VincentAI, Legora, Opus 2, Clearbrief), building capability across deal and matter teams. Develop and implement project plans, workflows, databases, budgets, and reporting for legal technology initiatives, offering clear, data-driven insights to leadership and case teams. Contribute to the firm’s knowledge base by creating playbooks, templates, training programs, CLEs, and boot camps that elevate legal technology and eDiscovery practice across the firm. Engage directly with clients, strengthening relationships while meeting billable hour expectations in a dynamic, cross-border practice Skill and experience requirements: 5-8 years of hands-on legal technology and eDiscovery experience (ideally in AmLaw 100, Big 4, or leading vendors), with a strong track record managing complex, cross-border and government investigation matters. Deep expertise across the full eDiscovery lifecycle and litigation workflows, including EDRM/Sedona principles, data processing, vendor deliverables, and database/workflow design for document review and analysis. Advanced proficiency with leading eDiscovery and legal tech platforms and AI/GenAI tools (e.g., Relativity/Relativity aiR, VenioOne, Nuix, eZReview, Trial Director, CaseRooms, Opus Magnum, Clearbrief, VincentAI, Legora), plus strong knowledge of information retrieval, archiving systems, analytics, and workflow automation. Strong communication, interpersonal, and client-service skills, with proven ability to collaborate effectively across all levels, offices, and functions, including international stakeholders. Ability to design and deliver user training (including classroom-style sessions), while managing time, resources, budgets, and priorities to meet or exceed service level expectations. Bachelor’s degree preferred, with RCA certification strongly preferred and additional certifications such as PMP, ACEDS, or business analysis credentials considered a plus; highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive with a solutions-focused mindset.
