All details should be entered on the application.</strong></strong></strong></em><ul style="margin-bottom: 3pt;"><li>Patrol parking districts with three-wheeled scooter, or other assigned Parking Commission vehicles to identify and enforce parking regulations using license plate recognition hardware/software; issue parking citations on foot while using hand-held ticketing devices.</li><li>Locate and report vehicle immobilizations.&nbsp;</li><li>Identify and report safety issues, nonfunctioning equipment, signage, and paint issues.</li><li>Perform parking lot utilization surveys in designated areas.</li><li>Respond to customer inquiries regarding parking regulations and procedures.</li><li data-pasted="true">Other duties as assigned, based on training and qualifications.&nbsp;</li></ul><ul style="margin-bottom: 3pt"><li>Knowledge of or the ability to learn rules, regulations, and procedures for enforcing parking violations.</li><li>Knowledge of or the ability to learn Missoula Parking Districts and Missoula area street names and block numbers.</li><li>Knowledge of and ability to promote department safety considerations, City safety policies, OSHA standards and guidelines, including risk management techniques to reduce exposure to injury, damage, and liability.</li><li>Skill in operating office equipment, various computer software and databases, including Microsoft 365, and the ability to learn job-specific applications and equipment. </li><li>Skill in multitasking in a fast-paced environment, while providing effective customer service.</li><li>Skill in professionally and sensitively serving distressed citizens, with the ability to resolve conflicts with facilitating outcomes while maintaining a calm demeanor.</li><li>Skill in safely operating various tools, vehicles, and other equipment.</li><li>Skill in communicating, in person and writing, with the proven ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with diverse individuals.</li><li>Ability to maintain and foster a culture of professionalism, adhere to departmental and City standards and specifications, and support a positive team environment.</li><li>Ability to follow oral and written instructions.</li><li>Ability to learn departmental and City of Missoula practices and procedures, including Missoula Municipal Code and Montana State regulations related to parking.</li></ul><strong><u>Working Conditions:</u></strong><br><ul style="margin-bottom: 3pt"><li>Position requires the ability to lift and maneuver 30 lbs. or less.</li><li>Work environment may involve exposure to unavoidable seasonal weather conditions, occupational hazards, and physical risks, including high traffic areas, which require following basic safety precautions.</li><li>Duties may require walking for long periods of time.</li><li>Position involves frequent interactions with the public, including various agitated individuals. </li></ul><ul style="margin-
