*Moved from N/R to Recruiters LIVE   Intellectual Property Patent Agent | Atlanta, GA | #20475 Eversheds Sutherland (US) LLP is seeking a Patent Agent to work with its Intellectual Property practice group in the Atlanta office. We are looking to add a team member with 3+ years of experience in patent preparation and prosecution. The individual will join a sophisticated practice that advises clients on the development and expansion of their IP portfolios, including identifying and protecting innovation related to cloud computing, machine learning/artificial intelligence, digital image processing, wireless communications and standards, autonomous vehicle technologies, automotive electrical systems, network and device security, augmented reality, mobility, consumer electronics, e-commerce, optics, wireless charging, and energy management. Additionally, the Patent Agent will help protect the innovations and have extensive interaction with a variety of clients including Fortune 100 companies, technology sector leaders, emerging companies, and universities. We are seeking Patent Agents who possess: Three or more years of experience drafting and prosecuting patent applications. A degree in electrical engineering, computer engineer or computer science (or the equivalent) and USPTO registration are required. Skills and knowledge related to preparing patent applications for submission to the USPTO and responding to office actions from the USPTO and other patent offices. A programing background or a working understanding of software coding, with a preference for experience with artificial intelligence. Strong academic records, developed analytical skills, and impressive communication abilities. A detail-oriented approach, the ability to assume immediate responsibility for matters in an active practice, a collaborative outlook, and confidence.
