Professional Liability/General Liability Attorney – Associate

Position Description: We are seeking general liability and professional liability litigation associates with all levels of experience. Responsibilities: Defending clients in a broad range of general liability and/or professional liability matters Investigating claims and defenses, analyzing liability and damages, and developing case handling strategies Conducting legal research and analysis Drafting letters, memos, motions, and pleadings Preparing discovery request/responses and taking/defending depositions Representing clients at court conferences, hearings, mediations, and trial/arbitration Regularly communicating with partners, associates, paralegals, clients, and opposing counsel 1850 billable hours Skills & Requirements: Juris Doctor from an ABA accredited law school Current California bar admission, in good standing 4+ years of experience with general liability and/or professional liability litigation Excellent writer with attention to detail Effective oral communication skills Must be a team player with exceptional personal interaction skills and responsiveness Self-starter with strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment Understanding of current
