Position Description: We are seeking employment litigation partners, with or without their own book of business. Attorneys will defend employer clients in single plaintiff employment litigation (in court and arbitration) and will investigate and respond to administrative charges. Some wage & hour experience is a plus but not required. Responsibilities: Defending clients in a broad range of employment-related claims Investigating claims and defenses, analyzing liability and damages, and developing case handling strategies Conducting legal research and analysis Drafting letters, memos, motions, and pleadings Preparing discovery request/responses and taking/defending depositions Representing clients at court conferences, hearings, mediations, and trial/arbitration Regularly communicating with partners, associates, paralegals, clients, and opposing counsel 1850 billable hours Skills & Requirements: Juris Doctor from an ABA accredited law school Current California bar admission, in good standing Significant employment litigation experience required Excellent writer with attention to detail Effective oral communication skills Must be a team player with exceptional personal interaction skills and responsiveness Se
