We are currently seeking a Litigation Paralegal to play a key role in assisting attorneys with all aspects of case management throughout the litigation process. The ideal candidate brings strong litigation experience, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple matters efficiently while delivering high‑quality support to attorneys and clients. This position can be based in Dallas, TX or Houston, TX. Key Responsibilities: Research and analyze sources such as statutes, recorded judicial decisions, legal articles, legal codes, etc. Prepare legal documents such as briefs, pleadings, appeals, etc. for review, approval, and use by attorneys. Investigate facts and law of case to determine causes of action and to prepare case accordingly. Assist with the collection, review, summarization, and organization of electronic and paper discovery materials. Prepare trial binders and other materials for case preparation. File pleadings with court clerk personally and electronically. Prepare affidavits of documents and maintain document files. Deliver or direct delivery of subpoenas to witnesses and parties to action. Maintain accurate and organized client files, including electronic records. Accurately record time worked and enter time and description into time and billing system. Job Requirements: Associates degree or Bachelor’s degree with a major in paralegal studies, or A Bachelor’s degree with an unrelated major, and have: A certificate from an ABA approved paralegal training program specializing in the area for which the candidate is being considered; or Two years’ experience in the area of specialization for which the candidate is being considered or other comparable experience; or Unique qualifications, experience, or training which fill a specific need within FBT Gibbons. Minimum of three years of experience supporting litigation matters. Strong research skills. Extremely accurate and detailed in paperwork. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work with set goals and achieve them. Capable of analyzing situations and solving problems effectively. Ability to work under pressure and with time constraints. Ability to work independently and as a team. Strong organizational and attention to detail skills. Proficient computer skills using MS Office applications. Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
