Associates must be self-motivated, and able to work independently or in a group environment.</p><p></p><p><b>Primary Duties & Responsibilities:</b></p><p></p><p>The Valley View location functions in a machining environment that is climate-controlled with air conditioning:</p><ul><li><p>Set up and operate, in an efficient timely manner, a wide range of machine tools, both CNC and manual such as grinders, mills, lathes, and hones on a diverse range of products involving difficult operations, aerospace tolerances, and complex shapes. Machines used at Valley View include HAAS vertical mills, Toyoda Grinders, Accuturn, Prodigy, Hardinge, and HAAS lathes. </p></li><li><p>Align and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, or materials onto machines.</p></li><li><p>Work from and read blueprints as well as setting and checking work to various quality control gages. </p></li><li><p>Monitor product quality and troubleshoot to determine causes of operating errors and make decisions to solve any errors.</p></li><li><p>Confer with engineering, supervisory, or manufacturing personnel to exchange technical information.</p></li><li><p>Understand written instructions and be willing and able to communicate those instructions to others</p></li><li><p>Read process instructions and drawings and recognize/attend to details</p></li><li><p>Participate in customer audits and complete the Certified Operator Program (COP), DVV’s intensive, skills-based validation and training program.</p></li><li><p>Audit processes to ensure compliance with quality practices and work instructions throughout the facility</p></li><li><p>Monitor production processes and control product processe
