Bankruptcy Associate

We are seeking associates with 3+ years of bankruptcy and restructuring experience to join our growing Financial Restructuring group. We represent creditors, investors and distressed companies in all types of in-court and out-of-court restructuring matters around the world. Areas of focus include representing first and second lien lenders, bondholders, hedge funds, and other creditors; acting in contested U.S. and multinational insolvencies, restructurings and bankruptcies; handling multidisciplinary cross-border deals that have secured our reputation as a leader in Latin America and Eastern Europe; and appearing before trial and appellate courts in complex Chapter 11 and Chapter 15 matters. Our practice is top ranked by Global Restructuring Review, Turnarounds & Workouts, Chambers & Partners and other leading industry guides and publications. Salary is $260,000+ commensurate with class year and experience. Candidates must have: Substantive experience in representing creditors, investors, distressed companies and other stakeholders in large scale, complex U.S. and cross-border bankruptcy and insolvency proceedings and out-of-court restructurings Excellent academic credentials from a T-20 law school and prior experience at a top 30 Am Law firm NOTE TO SEARCH FIRMS: Recruitment agencies should feel free to enquire about openings and opportunities.
