The Corporate and Private Equity Department consists of more than 90 attorneys whose practices focus on all types of private equity transactions including leveraged buy-outs, independent sponsor transactions, rollups, minority and junior capital investments, "going private" transactions and purchases of troubled companies in or out of bankruptcy. We have a team devoted to representing emerging managers and other general partners as well as significant limited partners in forming private equity, growth equity, venture capital, mezzanine, and real estate funds. Job Requirements: We are seeking associate candidates with 4 - 5 years of experience in acquisitions for private equity funds. Our private equity department has a large, national platform that we are seeking to further expand with the right candidate. Must have a strong academic record, excellent writing and oral communication skills and the ability to work independently with clients and colleagues. Willingness and desire to work with innovative technology platforms. Our attorneys leverage Harvey AI to accelerate research, streamline document drafting, and enhance analytical work, allowing associates to focus on higher-value strategic thinking and client engagement.
