Labor & Employment Associate Attorney

Kronick is seeking an Associate Attorney with 2–6 years of litigation experience to join our Labor & Employment Practice Group. Labor and employment experience is a plus, not a requirement. This position offers meaningful early responsibility, strong mentorship, and the opportunity to develop as a trial lawyer in a collaborative environment. What You’ll Do Work closely with litigation teams to solve complex labor and employment matters for public and private sector clients Draft persuasive briefs and other court filings Represent clients in hearings, law and motion proceedings, and at trial Take and defend depositions Propound and respond to written discovery Review and interpret contracts and employment-related documents Conduct legal research and advise clients on a variety of employment issues In the past year alone, junior attorneys in this group have argued motions, taken depositions, and gone to trial—this is a role with real opportunity, not just training wheels. What We’re Looking For 2–6 years of litigation experience; labor & employment experience is a plus Strong research, writing, and oral advocacy skills Ability to analyze complex documents and legal issues Interest in litigation and a competitive mindset Strong judgment and the ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues Ability to manage multiple matters and problem-solve creatively J.D. from an accredited law school Active California bar license in good standing What We Offer Salary range: $135,000–$195,000, depending on experience Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits Early, substantive litigation experience Strong mentorship and advancement opportunities A collegial, team-oriented firm culture A well-established Sacramento-based firm with a strong litigation reputation
