Our mission is to achieve exceptional results for our clients, drive innovation in the practice of law, and pursue unparalleled excellence in everything we do.</p> <p><strong>Purpose of the Role:</strong></p> <p><br>We are seeking a diligent, team-oriented Associate to play a key role in all phases of mass tort litigation. This individual will work closely with experienced trial lawyers on high-impact cases that make a meaningful difference in clients’ lives.&nbsp;This role offers significant hands-on responsibility, exposure to complex litigation strategy, and the opportunity to contribute to large-scale, coordinated proceedings from early case development through trial. Associates may be based in our Washington, D.C., Coral Gables, Florida, or Chicago office.&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p> <p style="padding-left: 40px;"><br>• Evaluate and develop claims on behalf of injured clients, including factual and legal analysis<br>• Review and synthesize medical records, case files, and investigatory materials<br>• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests/responses, and legal memoranda<br>• Manage written discovery and large-scale document review processes<br>• Take and defend depositions of plaintiffs, fact witnesses, and expert witnesses<br>• Communicate directly with clients regarding case status, expectations, and next steps<br>• Collaborate with co-counsel and national litigation teams in multidistrict and coordinated proceedings<br>• Assist with trial preparation, including exhibit development, witness outlines, and case strategy<br>• Attend hearings, court appearances, and trials as needed</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p> <p style="padding-left: 40px;"><br>• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school<br>• Active U.S. bar license in good standing (Illinois, D.C., or Florida preferred, depending on office location)<br>• 3–5 years of experience in complex litigation<br>• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills<br>• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and colleagues<br>• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-volume environment</p> <p>
