Purpose: Keller Postman seeks a Senior Arbitration Paralegal to support its growing practice representing claimants in high-volume, complex arbitration proceedings. This role will be heavily focused on managing all phases of arbitration matters—from pre-filing through hearings and post-award administration—often across thousands of individual claims. The Senior Arbitration Paralegal will be responsible for executing and overseeing complex workflows in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, with a strong emphasis on organization, process management, and attention to detail. This individual will also spend approximately thirty percent of their time coordinating assignments within an assigned arbitration docket, as well as mentoring and training paralegals and legal assistants. This in-person role may be based in Chicago, Washington, D.C., or Coral Gables, Florida. The compensation range for this full-time position is $60/hour to $90/hour, plus a year-end discretionary bonus and benefits. Essential Functions: Coordinate and assign tasks to paralegals and legal assistants across large arbitration dockets, ensuring timely and accurate execution of filings and deadlines. Assist with training and development of legal support staff by coaching and mentoring, particularly on arbitration-specific processes and workflows. Manage all phases of arbitration matters, including demand preparation and filing, arbitrator selection, case administration, discovery coordination, hearing preparation, and post-award processes. Prepare and file arbitration demands, submissions, and supporting documentation with arbitration forums such as AAA, JAMS, and other providers.
