Job Title AP Compliance Program Manager Location Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, New York, Palo Alto, San Francisco, Washington, D.C. Regular/Temporary Regular Job Description Summary We have an opening for an AP Compliance Program Manager. The AP Compliance Program Manager carries enterprise-level accountability across three pillars: SOX compliance and internal controls governance, AP transformation and strategic program management, and analytics and KPI strategy. Where the AP Supervisor owns the daily operation and the Senior Manager owns the vision and organizational strategy, the Compliance Program Manager owns the infrastructure that connects them — the controls, the data, the project rigor, and the reporting frameworks that ensure the function operates with integrity, delivers measurable results, and scales with the firm’s growth. The right candidate does not wait for direction — they identify risk, build the framework, and drive the outcome. This role demands the strategic judgment of a finance professional, the technical depth of a controls and analytics expert, and the leadership presence to represent the AP function at the highest levels of the firm. Job Description In this capacity, the AP Compliance Manager will: SOX Compliance, Controls Governance & Audit Leadership Own the AP SOX compliance program end-to-end: control design and documentation, testing coordination, deficiency management, remediation oversight, and ongoing control effectiveness monitoring; Maintain and continuously strengthen the AP controls matrix, ensuring alignment with evolving regulatory requirements, firm policy changes, and operational process updates; Lead all audit engagements for the AP function — internal and external — including audit planning, evidence delivery, control walkthroughs, finding responses, and remediation tracking through closure; Design and implement control enhancements, policy updates, and segregation-of-duties frameworks that anticipate audit requirements rather than react to findings; Establish a controls governance cadence: q
