Williams Mullen is seeking a Real Estate attorney with 4-6 years’ experience to join our dynamic Finance & Real Estate group in our Virginia Beach, VA office. This is an excellent opportunity for an associate with an entrepreneurial spirit seeking a positive career trajectory, significant responsibility on complex matters, and a chance to work closely with senior partners on a fast-paced team. Candidates should be comfortable with significant direct client interaction. Ideal candidates have 4-6 years’ experience in drafting commercial real estate, acquisition, leasing and financing documents, and handling title, survey, entity and other real estate diligence matters. Knowledge or experience in land use due diligence, processing entitlements, preparing zoning reports, application materials and presentations, facilitating community meetings and outreach. Successful candidates must demonstrate the ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being able to assume individual responsibility for client matters. Possess a drive for excellence and willingness to take initiative to solve problems. Strong writing credentials and excellent analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills are required. Candidates must be currently licensed in Virginia, immediate waive into Virginia, or be a member of the bar in one or more US Jurisdictions and willing to sit for the Virginia bar.
