Chambliss, Bahner & Stophel, P.C., a distinguished regional corporate law firm is seeking a dynamic Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our Human Resources team. This role reports directly to the Director of Talent and Employee Engagement and offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of our firm by bringing in exceptional attorneys, paralegals, and professional staff. FLSA status: Non-exempt Location: This role is required to sit on-site in our downtown Chattanooga office. Candidates must be willing to commute or relocate to be considered. Job Duties: Talent Acquisition & Recruitment Lead firm-wide talent acquisition efforts for attorneys, paralegals, legal assistants, administrative staff, and support personnel, collaborating closely with department heads and firm leadership to fill positions with top-quality candidates. Design and execute innovative sourcing strategies, leveraging LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, legal recruiting platforms, social media channels, and professional networks to build a robust talent pipeline. Develop and maintain strategic relationships with staffing agencies, law schools, paralegal programs, and community organizations to expand our recruitment reach. Manage the Summer Associate Program, including recruitment events, interviews, selection, and onboarding, ensuring a pipeline of future talent. Manage the full-life cycle recruiting process, from job requisition and candidate screening to offers, background checks, and new hire onboarding. Administer the firm’s Applicant Tracking System (ClearCompany), maintaining accurate records, metrics, and compliance documentation. Onboarding & Employee Experience Design and coordinate comprehensive onboarding programs that create memorable first impressions and set new hires up for long-term success. Process new hire paperwork, and educate employees on firm policies, culture, and benefits. Act as a brand ambassador for the firm at career fairs, legal conferences, community events, and university partnerships. HR Administration Write, update, and maintain job descriptions to reflect evolving role requirements and organizational needs. Analyze recruitment metrics and program effectiveness, providing data-driven recommendations to leadership. Skills & Competencies: Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite Strong knowledge and understanding of applicant tracking systems and Experience in full-life cycle recruitment and managing multiple requisitions Understanding of local, state and federal employment laws and regulations Excellent verbal and written communication skills Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills Strong organizational, analytical and critical thinking skills Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required. Minimum 3-5 years of progressive experience in talent acquisition, recruitment, or human resources, preferably within a legal or professional services environment.
