Job Description Immigration Manager (Cork) Contract: Full-time, permanent Team: Ireland Inbound Office Location: Cork, Ireland The Role: Managers within Fragomen are responsible for the day-to-day management of not only the team they lead and ongoing improvement of the processes but also client relationships (including global clients) and office and region-wide initiatives This means that you will take the lead on the work allocation and output of the team, as well as identifying new work opportunities for the Firm and undertaking appropriate actions to acquire new work for the Practice and the Firm as a whole, with the support of the Practice Leader, Senior Managers and colleagues across other Fragomen Practices. Accountability for day-to-day client relationships, growing the client base, leading a team of engaged and motivated employees. Management of a diverse team, their workload, performance, training and development and quality of support for clients. Responsible for maintaining good client relationships and close management of VIP cases, escalations as well as active participation in presentation and meetings with clients. Liaising with all key stakeholders in client accounts and establishing relationships with Partners, other Managers, global and regional Client Service Managers and other relevant stakeholders across their accounts and within the Practice Taking the lead on diverse projects imperative to continuous improvement in the Practice and the wider Firm Sharing best practices and provide strategic insights into complex inquiries, projects, high profile matters. Identifying and pursuing new client opportunities. Scoping and pricing of service models; identifying and implementing new service models for the team Engaging with government officials and external organisations on behalf of the Firm Actively assisting with and participating in internal and external conferences, seminars and client networking events What we are looking for: You will have a strong background in a similar business immigration Management level role, gained within an immigration focused environment. Also required: A strong academic background with an emphasis on Irish immigration law and policies Strong business acumen and understanding of financial metrics Proven record of client facing and strong customer service experience, and the ability to present in front of the client and manage escalations Ability to analyse, structure, build and define clear processes, ability to identify opportunities and provide innovative solutions, proven record of strategic thinking and advisory work Ability to identify, assess and manage risk for the organisation when making decisions Excellent organisation skills with ability to plan, prioritize, meet deadlines, monitor budget and manage multiple projects. project management experience Ability to motivate, lead and develop a growing team, leading and coaching teams while working as an enthusiastic member of the team Competent at explaining and advocating facts/ideas in a convincing manner to individuals and groups, including government officials What to expect: Once you have submitted your application, our Talent Acquisition team will review your skills and experience.
