For Linklaters Office in Warsaw, we are currently recruiting for the General Ledger Specialist role. Your role Calculate, prepare and post specific and ad-hoc journal entries as part of Month End Close and day to day operations Prepare Bank Reconciliations and Balance Sheet Account Reconciliations (Assets and Liability accounts) Maintain Fixed Asset Registers and calculate and post monthly depreciation charges Responsible for performing Month End Close activities, in line with global and office specific policies Ensure that service quality is maintained in performing daily operations within global General Ledger Department Build excellent working relationships with the Finance and Shared Service staff in the local offices Maintain high quality process documentation Your experience 1-2 years of professional experience in finance (preferably in AP, AR, CA or GL Department within SSC/BPO’s) Masters’ Degree in Finance and Accounting or related faculty, additional accounting qualifications nice to have Knowledge of general accounting principles, practices and procedures Understanding of SLAs, KPIs, process documentation, SOPs Office skills: SAP, Microsoft office, high competence in MS Excel Fluent English Location Warsaw (hybrid model – min. 2 days per week at the office) Type of contract 24‑month fixed‑term contract (FTE) Linklaters and the Team Linklaters are a people business.
