The role will focus on complex litigation matters, including business disputes, real estate litigation, trust and estate disputes, and other high-stakes commercial matters. The ideal candidate will be able to independently handle all aspects of case preparation, pretrial proceedings, and courtroom advocacy. Responsibilities • Independently manage cases from inception through trial preparation, including depositions, court appearances, pleadings, and motion practice • Oversee all aspects of discovery, including document review, production, and strategy • Prepare witnesses, exhibits, and other materials for pretrial and trial proceedings • Develop and execute case strategy in coordination with partners and first-chair counsel • Support settlement negotiations, mediations, and other alternative dispute resolution proceedings • Manage client relationships and provide strategic legal guidance throughout all phases of litigation Qualifications • Juris Doctor from an accredited law school • License to practice law in good standing in Florida • 5-7 years of experience in commercial litigation, with proven ability to manage depositions, hearings, and pretrial preparation independently • Experience handling complex business, contract, real estate, probate, or similar commercial disputes • Strong drafting, analytical, and strategic thinking abilities • Excellent courtroom presence and advocacy skills • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with senior attorneys and practice teams • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to interact directly with clients and counterparties The firm offers a competitive salary based on experience and a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance, HSA, a flexible spending plan, 401(k) with an employer match, and paid time off.
