Prenuptial and postnuptial agreements.
Collaborate with CPAs, wealth advisors, and family office teams to ensure coordinated planning across disciplines.
Assist with family governance, family meetings, and multigenerational planning structures.
Conduct legal and financial audits of existing client structures.
Qualifications:
J.D. from an accredited law school and strong academic record.
Active bar membership in good standing in the District of Columbia.
7+ years of relevant experience in estate planning, wealth transfer, and/or trust and estate administration.
Extensive knowledge of federal estate, gift, and generation-skipping transfer tax rules.
Proven ability to work with high-net-worth clients and navigate sensitive family dynamics.
Excellent drafting and communication skills.
Strong working knowledge of advanced estate planning and tax techniques.
Experience with high-net-worth or ultra-high-net-worth clients and complex family dynamics.
Comfortable managing multiple sophisticated matters with discretion and poise.
Excellent drafting, analytical, and verbal communication skills.
Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative, and client-focused environment.
Commitment to client service and building trusted relationships.
Preferred:
Active bar membership in good standing in Maryland and/or Virginia.
Experience with decanting trusts.
Exposure to closely held business succession issues.
Prior work with family offices or cross-disciplinary advisory teams.
