You can also follow us on Linkedin and Instagram. Job description We are a leading global mobility firm supporting multinational organizations with immigration and workforce compliance services. We are looking for an experienced Immigration Senior Associate to join our Nigerian team. This role is ideal for a proactive professional who can independently manage Nigerian immigration cases while supporting broader mobility compliance, including expatriate tax coordination. Tasks * Serve as the primary point of contact for corporate clients seeking immigration support. * Understand the unique immigration needs of each client and develop tailored immigration plans * Handle the end-to-end immigration process for employees, including visa applications, work permits * Prepare and review immigration forms, petitions, and supporting documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance. * Interpret and apply immigration rules to ensure clients' compliance and avoid any potential legal issues. * Advise clients on immigration processes, timelines, and potential risks * Maintain accurate and organized case files for each client, ensuring all relevant documents are securely stored and readily accessible. * Ensure commercial awareness ie efficiently recording time on a timely basis and supporting with billing activities, understanding scope creep. * Prepare and submit necessary documentation to government agencies and authorities. * Communicate effectively with clients, government officials, and internal teams to ensure seamless exchange of information. * Liaise with network office, third party providers, consulates, embassies, and immigration authorities receive up to date immigration rules or monitor case progress and resolve issues * Handle unexpected issues that may arise during the immigration (or implementation) process with professionalism and efficiency. * Provide regular updates to clients on the status of their immigration cases or change to immigration rules. * Use a broad range of tools and techniques to extract insights from current trends in business area. * Address client inquiries, concerns, and feedback in a timely and courteous manner. * Training new/junior team members on case management and immigration law forms and applications * Stay up to date with relevant immigration laws, regulations, and policies. * Depending on the service line you're working in, you might also assist with the implementation of any relevant technology/platform Requirements * Bachelor’s degree * 3–5 years’ experience in Nigerian corporate immigration services * Experience working in a consulting firm, mobility support provider, or multinational environment preferred * Exposure to expatriate tax compliance or mobility tax processes is advantageous but not required * Strong knowledge of Nigerian immigration regulations and processes * Understanding of expatriate lifecycle compliance within global mobility programs * Ability to manage multiple client cases with minimal supervision * Strong project management skills as the candidate will be required to coordinate the deliverables of services across third party service providers in Africa * Strong documentation, reporting, and stakeholder-management skills Core Competencies * Self-starter with strong ownership mindset * Fast learner who adapts quickly to regulatory or client changes * Strong team player with collaborative approach * Detail-oriented with strong follow-through * Proactive, solutions-driven, and client-focused Why join us * Work with multinational clients across diverse industries * Be part of a collaborative, high-performing global mobility team * Gain exposure to integrated immigration and mobility advisory work * Opportunities for professional growth and expanded client responsibility We are an equal opportunity employer that does not discriminate based on any legally protected status.
