Porter Hedges LLP is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Construction Litigation Associate to join our growing legal team. The ideal candidate will have 4-6 years of experience in construction law and a strong interest in litigation and courtroom advocacy. This is an excellent opportunity for a talented attorney with a passion for construction law to advance their career in a supportive and challenging environment. Key Responsibilities: Represent clients in construction litigation matters, including contract disputes, defect claims, and delay claims. Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and briefs. Manage discovery processes, including depositions, document production, and interrogatories. Advocate for clients in court hearings, trials, and alternative dispute resolution proceedings. Collaborate with clients, experts, and other attorneys to develop case strategies. Provide legal advice and counsel to clients on construction law issues. Job Requirements: Skills and Qualifications: Excellent academic credentials (J.D. from a Top 50 law school and Top 25% of class preferred). Texas State Bar License (in good standing). Exceptional legal research, writing, and analytical skills. Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
