Your Role: Litigation Attorney – General Liability & Trucking Defense As an Attorney in our General Liability & Trucking Defense practice, you will play a vital role in litigating high-exposure cases and providing strategic defense for national and regional clients. Your responsibilities include: Case Strategy & Litigation Management: Handling all aspects of case development, strategy, and defense, including trucking, cargo loss, auto accident, and premises liability matters. Courtroom & Mediation Advocacy: Attending hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials in both state and federal courts. Legal Research & Writing: Drafting motions, pleadings, discovery responses, and legal memoranda to support case strategies. Discovery & Evidence Preparation: Conducting witness depositions, managing discovery, and coordinating with expert witnesses. Coverage & Risk Assessment: Bonus points if you have legitimate insurance coverage experience, including analyzing policy terms and litigating coverage disputes. Client Counseling & Litigation Risk Management: Advising clients on litigation risks, case strategy, and legal obligations while maintaining strong client relationships.
