Position Overview The Wylie Inn and Conference Center is seeking Full Time Banquet Servers to join their team of dedicated professionals The Wylie Inn & Conference Center employees are part of the Endicott College community and share in the beautiful campus offerings. Endicott is located 20 miles north of Boston and accessible by public transportation. The parking is free and the beautiful beaches are close by! Key Responsibilities · Set up banquet room as instructed by Banquet Captain to include linen, service ware and glassware · Attend roll call meetings before events to learn function particulars, including guest and hotel expectations · Greet guests and respond to requests in a friendly and courteous manner · Serve the food and/or beverage in the order and to the expectation of the Banquet Captain to ensure consistency in the order throughout the banquet · Promptly bus dishes as guests complete each course and/or meal at the end of the meal or function Community Engagement Be an active participant in the life of the College by attending and supporting key events like Commencement, Homecoming, and other all-hands-on-deck gatherings. Show a spirit of collaboration and community involvement, including volunteering when possible. Qualifications and Skills · Minimum 18 years old · Ability to work in a standing position for long period of time · Ability to lift up to 25 pounds, maneuvering trays of food and drink · Ability to work well under pressure in a high-volume event · Positive attitude In compliance with Massachusetts pay transparency law, the hourly pay for this position is $18.50 per hour, increasing to $21.50 for Wedding events. Endicott College considers factors such as (but not limited to) job responsibilities, relevant experience, skills, internal equity, and external market data when determining pay. The final hourly rate is determined by the Human Resources Office based on these factors. This range reflects base pay only and does not include benefits or other compensation.
