Associate Attorney

This full-time position involves providing legal counsel, conducting research, negotiating, and representing clients in both state and federal courts. The role includes collaborating closely with partners and senior associates on complex litigation matters. We are looking for a legal professional with a strong background or interest in insurance coverage (first- and third-party), construction defect, professional liability, business and commercial litigation, medical malpractice, premises liability, or large trucking & transportation litigation. Key Responsibilities: Provide legal advice and strategic guidance to clients Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents Represent clients in court proceedings, depositions, and mediations Negotiate settlements and manage dispute resolution processes Collaborate closely with partners and senior associates on litigation strategy and case development Qualifications: Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school Licensed to practice law in Texas 5–10 years of experience as a practicing attorney Demonstrated expertise or interest in insurance coverage (first- and third-party), construction defect, professional liability, business and commercial litigation, medical malpractice, premises liability, or large trucking & transportation litigation Strong legal research and writing skills Experience in negotiation and dispute resolution Courtroom experience in state and federal courts preferred Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively
