We have an immediate opening in our Municipal and Land Use Department for a mid-level attorney with 3-5 years of experience. Responsibilities & Tasks You Should Expect to Perform As a Municipal & Land Use Attorney at Gawthrop, you should expect to perform the following responsibilities and tasks independently: Provide representation for private and public clients, including elected officials, in a variety of municipal and land use matters; Attend and maintain a steady schedule of public and client meetings and conferences (i.e. Board of Supervisors/Council, Municipal Authority, and Planning Commission Meetings; Zoning Hearing Board Hearings, etc.); Represent clients during hearings, trials, appeals and quasi-judicial matters; Draft necessary legal documents (i.e. agreements, applications, ordinances, zoning decisions, legal opinions); and Update clients regularly on their case status. Minimum Criteria for Eligibility J.
