About the Role We are seeking a proactive, full-time litigation paralegal for our Governmental Entity Liability Team. We are seeking a person with 3-5+ years of litigation experience to join our team. The team focuses on law enforcement and public entity defense. This specialized Team is known for representing public entities in a variety of cases, including dangerous condition claims and law enforcement officer liability matters. The ideal candidate has strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and is proactive. Responsibilities Conducting legal research on relevant statutes, regulations, case law, and jury verdicts. Summarizing case documents including document productions, expert reports, and deposition transcripts. Preparing trial binders and exhibits. Subpoenaing records, including preparing and serving subpoenas and following-up on productions. Propounding & responding to discovery. Maintaining files, including keeping track of discovery deadlines. Experience 3-5+ years of litigation experience. Paralegal certification from an ABA approved school. Trial experience preferred. Excellent time management skills and ability to manage and meet deadlines. Company Offers Salary starting at $70,000 - $102,000. Salary is commensurate with experience.
