Litigation Paralegal

Responsibilities: Conduct research to support legal proceedings Assist with the drafting and reviewing of legal documents Investigate facts to help in the negotiation of legal disputes Schedule depositions / deposition summariesMedical summaries Monitor and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations Record and store client information Keep accurate time (billing) records Assist in secretarial needs as dictated by work loads and client demand Other duties as required or determined by a supervisor as needed Qualifications: Previous experience as a paralegal (Workers Comp and Casualty experience a plus) Familiarity with legal research (Lexis) Ability to prioritize and multitask Excellent written and verbal communication skills Deadline and detail-oriented Familiarity with Coyote a plus Must be able to work autonomously Working Hours: Monday thru Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm (One hour meal break; over time as required.)
