Purpose Assist in management of Mechanical/Electrical/Plumbing division, including directing the technical production functions and all personnel decisions.   Responsibilities Leadership and Direction Receive broad guidance from senior-level management relating to overall key objectives, critical issues, new concepts, and policy matters and general parameters for execution.  Manage people and processes to ensure effective execution.  Review work produced by staff for quality assurance. Provide oversight and direction of department or business unit including strategy, budgeting, staff, and deliverables.      At the Operational and Company Level Assist with business development activities for current and prospective clients.   Coordinate with other internal departments to meet project requirements.   Assist engineering teams regarding projects, tasks, and operations.   Ensure the production and technical quality of the design, drawings, specifications, surveys, studies, reports and other products and services of the department.   Demonstrate and ensure conformance with company philosophy, policies, and procedures.   Oversee and support department managers with planning and direction of activities of department staff including scheduling and monitoring budgets and quality of work.   Oversee and support department managers with monitoring department's time utilization and staffing levels.   Gather and analyze market intelligence for new projects and opportunities.     Foster and develop positive customer relationships which result in increased business.   Understand customer needs and assist in the development of project solutions that satisfy those requirements and provide opportunities.   Maximize contact with key accoun
