Purpose Perform advanced technical and administrative work related to complex state and federally funded right-of-way negotiations, relocations, appraisals, utilities and adjustments, acquisitions, beautification regulations and compliance for highway or airport construction, rail and improvements, or the leasing, disposal or exchange of highway assets or utility work.  Work extensively with private entities and governmental agencies.  Responsibilities Leadership and Direction Receive broad guidance relating to overall key objectives, critical issues, new concepts, and policy matters and general parameters for execution . Receive direction as needed, and especially on highly complex assignments.  Independently apply extensive and diversified knowledge of principles and practices in broad areas of assignments and related fields.  Review work produced by staff for quality assurance. At the Operational and Company Level Actively identify new business development opportunities to include existing and new market areas, maintain relationships with clients, attend networking events, and market the firm’s capabilities and service offerings to establish new clients and enhance relationships. Interact directly with clients to apply expertise and counsel to develop project scope and negotiation parameters of acquisitions. Represent the client’s interests in all land acquisition negotiations. Devise and implement strategies for the acquisition of properties pre and post condemnation and in relocation services. Regularly and persuasively communicate with challenging landowners to overcome resistance.    Research, review, analyze and title; identify defects and outline/recommend curation.  Do the Work
