Purpose Serves as an advanced technical resource responsible for processing complex LiDAR datasets, performing detailed QA/QC, and supporting project leadership. Acts as a mentor for junior staff and contributes to process improvement initiatives Responsibilities Leadership and Direction Provides technical guidance and mentoring to junior staff. Assists project leads with workload planning and technical reviews. Serves as a subject matter resource for LiDAR processing workflows. At the Operational and Company Level Collaborates with project managers, survey teams, and engineering groups. Assists with production planning, scheduling, and resource coordination. Supports development of standards, procedures, and training materials. Identifies opportunities for automation and workflow improvements. Do the Work Process complex LiDAR datasets and troubleshoot technical challenges. Perform advanced classification, feature extraction, and surface modeling. Conduct comprehensive QA/QC reviews and ensure compliance with client specifications. Utilize MicroStation, TerraScan, TerraModeler, Global Mapper, and related software at an advanced level. Support PLS-CADD and engineering-ready deliverable development. Manage coordinate systems, transformations, and geospatial data integrity. Develop technical documentation and best practices.
