Retail Sales Associate

Job Description: We’re looking for a Retail Sales Associate, responsible for handling various sales activities in our retail store, including facilitating purchases and providing excellent customer service. Company Overview: Lore’s Chocolates is a family-owned specialty retailer located in the heart of the Historic Philadelphia, 1 block from the Liberty Bell within the Jeweler’s Row District. Job Responsibilities Greet guests as they enter the shop, in a friendly, hospitable, and efficient manner Remain knowledgeable about and answer questions related to merchandise, sales, and store policies Provide recommendations based on customer’s stated preferences, needs and desires Create a warm and cozy atmosphere for our guests in accordance with the vision of the store by acting in a welcoming and approachable manner during customer interactions Operate a Point-of-Sale System and perform related tasks, including cash handling, credit card processing Stock products in chocolate cases, maintain shelving areas as directed by management to keep store visually appealing Fill online and custom orders as necessary Prepare orders for shipping Job Skills & Qualifications Required: Friendly, outgoing demeanor with a strong commitment to customer service Ability to express oneself clearly and intelligently when making sales Calm, professional demeanor always Must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 20 pounds Preferred: Previous experience operating a point-of-sale system Serv Safe certification Love of Chocolates, chocolate/baking industry experience a plus Accurate order processing a must Shipping experience through online platform, Shopify experience a plus To apply please complete THIS FORM and email it to info@loreschocolates.com
