Commercial Real Estate and Finance Associate

Location: Stamford, CT Experience Level: 1–4 years of experience practicing in commercial real estate and financing Position Overview We are seeking a Commercial Real Estate Associate to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to work on sophisticated transactions alongside experienced attorneys and long standing clients. Key Responsibilities Draft and negotiate purchase and sale agreements, letters of intent, deeds, and other documents related to commercial real estate transactions. Conduct and review due diligence, including monitoring contingencies, preparing title objections, and reviewing surveys, environmental reports, closing documents, and wire instructions. Coordinate and analyze title commitments and policies, UCC, judgment, and lien searches, surveys, site plans, and leases. Oversee pre and post closing processes, including preparing documents for recording and filing. Communicate effectively with clients, banks, attorneys, and all parties involved in closings and filings. Manage and direct the review, preparation, and administration of commercial leasing documentation. Work Environment & Expectations Minimum annual billable requirement: 1,850 hours. Note: This role is for practicing attorneys; we are not accepting applications from current law students at this time. Connecticut Bar admission or eligibility to waive in (required). Juris Doctor from an ABA accredited law school and active membership in good standing with the Bar. Strong drafting, analytical, and communication skills. Corporate law experience (preferred).
