Objective of the position As a Technical Project Manager, you will lead the engineering side of a project to deliver scope within time and cost. You contribute to Stoneridge’s mission to remain a leader in the development and manufacturing of safe and efficient vision systems, intelligent vehicle controls and telematics solutions. You will report to the Chief Engineer and be responsible for fulfilling project-related responsibilities within your assigned scope. Characterization of activities Translate system, regulatory, and business requirements into structured engineering project plans. Lead and coordinate cross‑functional engineering teams to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to required quality standards. Plan, align, and manage engineering schedules, resources, and deliverables in line with the Stoneridge Project Launch Process and platform strategy. Ensure effective communication and collaboration with internal stakeholders, customers, and non‑engineering functions. Monitor and report project progress, manage risks, and facilitate cross‑disciplinary problem‑solving. Drive continuous improvement by supporting and implementing enhancements to engineering processes, methods, and tools, and translating strategic decisions into project‑level actions. Education, experience and knowledge MSc. or BSc. in a technical discipline as Software Engineering, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent. Minimum 5 years of experience in electronic product development, with hands‑on project management experience in an automotive environment. Strong knowledge of automotive quality systems and structured problem‑solving methods (e.g. APQP, ASPICE, 8D); Lean Six Sigma Green/Black Belt is a plus. Proven ability to manage stakeholders and collaborate effectively across cross‑functional teams. Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and visual), combined with strong analytical capabilities. Proactive, self‑driven team player able to identify opportunities and drive results with limited guidance; PM certification is an advantage. What we offer Salary based on knowledge and experience. Full-time employment of 40 hours per week. 8% holiday allowance. Travel allowance home-work: 23ct per kilometer one way up to a maximum of 50 km CAO: Metalektro HP Retirement: PME (Pensioenfonds Metalektro). WIA: WIA floor, WGA gap and WGA gap additional insurances in accordance with the stipulated provisions. PAWW: Compulsory supplementary insurance when the statutory unemployment WW or WGA benefit expires. Holiday days: 27 days on an annual basis (full-time). ATV: 13 days on an annual basis (full-time).
