Main purpose of the role: Simmons Adaptive are looking for a commercial contracts lawyer to support one of our energy and natural resources clients. This will be for up to 6 months, with the expectation of 1 day per week or 2 days every other week onsite in the North East. Person specification: You are a qualified lawyer. You have significant commercial contracts experience. Experience in IP, shipping/logistics, or construction/projects would be helpful. You will ideally have experience working within an in-house environment. You are a problem solver and offer a collaborative approach. You are able to work in a dynamic and fast moving environment. You are able to work quickly and effectively to tight deadlines. You have excellent organisation skills with the ability to effectively prioritise workloads. You can work autonomously but can also collaborate as part of the wider team. You will be required to hold the relevant right to work in the UK (visa sponsorship is not available).
