Job Title Senior Manager, Business Development (Antitrust) Location Washington, D.C. Regular/Temporary Regular Job Description Summary We have an opening for a Senior Manager, Business Development to support our Antitrust Practice Group. The Senior Manager, Business Development supports the business development and marketing efforts for the Litigation Department and works with partners and business development team members to create and execute strategic profile-raising activities, specifically for the Antitrust practice. Job Description In this capacity, the Senior Manager, Business Development will: Develop and execute business development and marketing plans, collaborate with partners, the business development, marketing and communications teams, as well as other internal stakeholders; Support the practice areas’ key client efforts and gather intelligence on legal industry trends and the competitive landscape; Coordinate with key stakeholders to draft and produce high-quality new business pitches and proposals; Collaborate with the global business development team on the identification and pursuit of cross-selling initiatives; Develop and maintain marketing materials, including practice overviews, web content, experience and awards/recognition; Evaluate, execute and manage sponsorship opportunities and partnerships, ensuring the firm capitalizes on all benefits to maximize ROI; Coordinate and prepare submissions for relevant practice awards and recognition; Develop and oversee client events, seminars and conferences; Collaborate with marketing and communications teams on relevant media relations and digital marketing initiatives; Contribute to department-wide efforts to improve business development processes and functions; and Other related duties as assigned. Proficiencies: Knowledge of technologies, developments, trends and literature related to legal and professional services marketing fields; Proficiency in MS Office suite; Excellent verbal and communication skills, including attention to detail and proofreading; Solid understanding of the needs and expectations of law firm operations and corporate legal clients in order to function at a strategic level; Advanced knowledge of marketing principles, procedures, concepts and practical applications; Fundamental knowledge of networking and relationship management; Proficiency in team building, management and leadership skills; and Fundamental knowledge of legal concepts. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in marketing, law or business (required); At least 10 years of marketing professional experience (required); Experience supporting Litigation group (required), preferably Antitrust; and At least 5 years of management experience in a corporate law firm setting or relevant industry setting is a plus. The salary wage range for Washington, D.C. that we expect to pay for this position is a minimum of $170,000 and a maximum of $220,000 annually. The actual pay wage may vary based on experience or other relevant factors. Employees will be provided with an excellent career opportunity in a collaborative environment, in addition to a generous total compensation package with the opportunity to earn bonuses based on individual contribution and firm profitability. The actual salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. This role is exempt meaning it is not overtime pay eligible.
