The Facilities Maintenance Technician is responsible for preventative maintenance and repair of our Hauppauge site, including the building, grounds, and facilities equipment. This position reports to the Facilities Manager and is part of the facilities team located in Hauppauge, NY and will be an on-site role. What you will do: Perform preventive and corrective maintenance activities on production, facilities, and auxiliary equipment including, but not limited to: Boilers, air compressors, air handlers, chillers, pumps/motors, HVAC units, waste treatment systems, RO/DI systems, electrical and lighting systems. Maintain strategic spare parts inventory, purchase spare and replacement parts as needed. Perform or coordinate inspections of aspects of the building and grounds, as well as facilities and life safety equipment throughout the facility. Perform or coordinate repairs and corrective maintenance activities as required per the inspection findings.
