Lamson Dugan & Murray LLP is seeking an employment attorney with 3-5 years of experience to join the Firm’s Omaha location. ‍ About the Firm: LDM’s extensive experience enables the Firm to offer expertise in 25 different practice areas, allowing the Firm to remain committed to quality representation, accessibility, and relentless hard work on behalf of clients. ‍ About the Position/Key Responsibilities: The ideal candidate for this Corporate Associate position should have at least 3-5 years of experience in employment law, including litigation and counseling. The successful candidate will handle a variety of employment law matters, including advising employers on compliance issues, drafting employment-related documents, and representing clients in litigation and administrative proceedings. Key responsibilities include: • Counsel employers on compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws • Draft and review employment agreements, handbooks, policies, and procedures • Represent employers in administrative proceedings • Handle employment litigation matters, including wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment, and wage and hour claims • Provide advice on labor relations, workplace investigations, and disciplinary actions • Stay updated on employment law developments and provide proactive advice to clients • Conduct training sessions for clients on employment law topics, such as harassment prevention and compliance ‍ Candidates with less experience will be considered depending on qualifications. ‍ Ideal Candidate Profile & Background: The successful candidate will handle a variety of employment law matters, including advising employers on compliance issues, drafting employment-related documents, and representing clients in litigation and administrative proceedings.
