We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Employment Paralegal to join our legal team. In this role, you will support attorneys by performing a wide range of tasks related to employment law litigation. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of employment law, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously. You will play a critical role in ensuring our clients receive effective representation throughout all stages of employment-related disputes. Responsibilities: Assist attorneys with all phases of employment law litigation, including pre-trial preparation, trial, and post-trial activities. Conduct legal research and gather evidence to support case strategies, including personnel records, company policies, and witness statements. Draft and prepare legal documents such as complaints, answers, discovery requests/responses, motions, position statements, and settlement agreements. File and manage legal documents with courts and administrative agencies (e.g., EEOC, DOL), ensuring compliance with all procedural deadlines and requirements. Coordinate with clients, HR professionals, and expert witnesses to obtain necessary information and documentation. Review and summarize personnel files, investigation reports, disciplinary records, and other case-related documents. Assist in the preparation of discovery responses and manage the discovery process, including organizing and reviewing relevant documentation. Prepare case files and exhibits for depositions, mediations, hearings, and trials. Maintain and update case management systems with case details, deadlines, and correspondence. Communicate with clients to provide updates on case status, schedule appointments, and respond to inquiries. Support attorneys in trial and hearing preparation, including organizing exhibits and preparing hearing/trial binders. Requirements: Proven experience as a paralegal, preferably in employment or labor law. Proficiency in legal research and writing, with experience drafting legal documents and pleadings. Knowledge of employment litigation procedures and familiarity with federal and state employment laws and regulations (e.g., Title VII, ADA, FMLA, FLSA, etc.). Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple matters and meet deadlines effectively.
