Hancock Estabrook, LLP, a respected law firm in Upstate New York, is seeking a full-time Paralegal to join its Ithaca office. The ideal candidate will possess a strong and versatile knowledge base, with experience in the areas of real estate and corporate law. Responsibilities Assist with drafting, reviewing, and finalizing legal documents related to corporate and real estate practice areas. Coordinate and communicate with clients and third parties involved in transactions. Conduct legal research and provide summaries for attorney review. Prepare closing documents and real estate transactions, including title reviews and settlement statements. Assist in the formation and management of corporate entities. Qualifications Paralegal certificate and 2+ years of legal experience required. Demonstrated knowledge in one or more of the following practice areas—real estate or corporate law—with a preference for corporate experience. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. High level of attention to detail. Team-oriented attitude with a strong work ethic. The pay range for this position is $50,000 – $60,000 annually and represents the firm’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. Actual compensation will depend upon a number of factors, including the candidate’s years of experience, qualifications and skill set.
