Job Description As a Senior Tax Associate in Vialto Partners ’s Global Mobility Tax team, you will play a key role in assisting some of the world’s most recognizable global organisations with their tax obligations related to the movement of employees across international borders. This role involves providing tax compliance and consulting services to multinational organisations and their employees, ensuring adherence to global tax regulations, and optimising tax strategies for both the company and its mobile employees. Key Responsibilities: Personal tax return compliance * Accurately prepare and/or review tax returns and related deliverables for global mobility employees within designated deadlines. * Review and manage tax equalization calculations and hypothetical tax assessments for expatriates * Monitor and ensure timely submission of personal tax returns and payments * Educate and counsel employees on their tax responsibilities and the potential implications of international assignments * Review and/or prepare supporting applications and documentation to optimize employees’ tax positions, including communication with assignees and the local (Greek) tax authorities. Consulting and advisory * Provide tax advisory services to clients regarding international tax issues including taxation treaties, foreign tax credits and double taxation relief * Advise clients on tax-efficient structuring of employee assignments and compensation packages * Assist in the development and implementation of global mobility policies and procedures * Managing complex projects from conception to completion Client Management * Build and maintain strong relationships with clients understanding their business needs and providing tailored tax solutions * Collaborate with clients, HR and payroll departments to gather necessary information for tax compliance * Led cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget, increasing client satisfaction scores Research and Analysis * Stay updated on global tax regulations, changes in Greek tax laws and industry best practices * Conduct research on complex tax issues and provide detailed analysis and recommendations * Re-engineered procedures to streamline workflow, reducing project delivery time to the best possible Team Collaboration * Work closely with global Vialto team members, supervise the associates and coordinate advice ensuring seamless service delivery * Participate in team meetings, exchange ideas and contribute to knowledge sharing * Mentor the team, improving productivity and fostering professional development Qualifications * University degree (Finance or Accounting) or another equivalent diploma * Minimum years of experience: 3-4 years of experience in tax preferred with a focus on individual tax compliance and consulting * Fluency in English * Knowledge of MS Office (excel, word, PowerPoint etc) * Strong analytical, organizational and writing skills * Ability to work effectively under pressure with a proactive attitude Additional Information We are an equal opportunity employer that does not discriminate on the basis of any legally protected status.
