Opportunity We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Manager of Strategic Growth (Recruiting), Legal, in either our Los Angeles or New York office. This is an exempt position and reports to the Director of Strategic Growth, Legal, and works closely with the Group and Business Unit Leaders to execute a national recruiting strategy with a primary focus on lateral Associate searches. Key Responsibilities Work closely with the Director of Strategic Growth, Legal in the creation and implementation of the annual strategic growth plan, including providing leadership and vision setting for the recruiting/sourcing strategy and approach. Manage all aspects of the Firm’s recruiting efforts, from job intake through offer, with a strong focus on Associate recruiting, in addition to supporting the Director of Strategic Growth, Legal with Partner recruiting efforts. Use a variety of search methods (i.e., search firms, internal referrals, online research tools) and creatively source candidates to target for proactive outreach. Review resumes and carry out preliminary screenings with candidates, referral sources, or search firms to assess if applicants meet the hiring requirements and should be forwarded to firm leadership. Schedule interviews, compile interviewer lists, collect and assess feedback, and craft evaluation summaries for leadership’s review. Serve as the main point of contact for candidates and referral sources or search firms, effectively guiding them throughout the recruitment process. Research lateral target candidates and monitor sources for information about candidates, peer firms, market activity, industry trends, and other information relevant to lateral recruiting. Serve as contact for lateral candidates, monitor interview schedules and act as the firm ambassador. Partner with the Business Professional teams to enhance recruiting efforts. Collaborate with the Marketing team to enhance firm branding for schools through quarterly newsletters, brochures, outreach emails, and website recruiting pages. Manage and train recruiting staff on processes and best practices and provide work direction with clear performance expectations for accountability, professional development opportunities, and contribute to the performance review process.
