ResponsibilitiesWe are seeking an associate with 2+ years of patent litigation experience and a technology or life sciences background. Responsibilities include preparation and trial of patent matters, Markman hearings, technical analysis of products and patents, discovery preparation and management, working with experts, conducting and defending depositions, and drafting pleadings and motions. Collaboration with team members is an important component of any role at Mintz. Therefore, the firm requires working from the office approximately 60% of the time in accordance with the firm's published guidelines. Qualifications Graduated with a JD or LLM from an ABA-accredited law schoolAdmitted to practice in California, Massachusetts, New York or Washington, DCPatent litigation experience in district court and/or before the International Trade CommissionA technology background in electrical engineering, computer science or a related fieldA life sciences background in biology, immunology, biochemistry or a related fieldExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to collaborate and work effectively in team settingsProfessionalism in engaging with clientsAbility to stay organized and exercise attention to detail About MintzMintz is an Am Law 100 law firm with over 500 attorneys serving clients worldwide. The salary range for this position is $235,000 to $420,000. This position is bonus eligible.Mintz offers a comprehensive benefits package.
